The rooms had a lovely outlook to catch the early sunrise from the lake, were spacious, spotlessly clean, and serviced twice daily with a little surprise each night. The hotel is superbly located in the heart of downtown Desenzano, just off the central part, with easy access to shops and cafes. The rooms are clean and nicely appointed, offering a charming view of the town from the 2nd-floor suite with two balconies. The service is exceptional, especially with Salvatore, Francesca, and the rest of the warm and friendly staff. Dining offers a fresh and abundant selection, though it may lack a traditional English breakfast. The central location makes it ideal for exploring the main squares, ferry points, and lidos, while being a quiet and convenient base for your holiday.
I have to say the hotel was a mixed bag for me. On one hand, the rooms were spacious and modern, complete with a fantastic bathroom and walk-in power shower. However, they did feel a bit stuffy at times, especially when the sun shone in during the early afternoon.
